The Tasmanian Energy Saver Loan Scheme has celebrated its one year anniversary with more than 100 vendors supporting the scheme through Brighte.
The Energy Saver Loan Scheme (ESLS) provides 0% interest loans to eligible applicants to fund the purchase price and installation of energy-efficient products.
Launched in October 2022, Brighte is the exclusive finance and administration provider of ESLS, providing customers with access to interest-free loans of between $500 and $10,000 over three years. It also manages all aspects of customer service, vendor onboarding and monitoring and the provision of finance.
During the history of the scheme, Brighte has developed an extensive network of accredited vendors across Tasmania - currently more than 100 - to assist customers interested in installing a sustainable upgrade. Customers can access a range of sustainable upgrade solutions through these vendors including rooftop solar, battery storage, heat pumps, energy-efficient appliances and double glazing and insulation on properties and businesses. In November last year, the scheme expanded to include EV chargers which extended sustainability to the next generation of mobility solutions offering customers more flexibility.
