Eligibility guidelines for Category B

• Category B products include heat pumps, heat pump and solar hot water systems, induction and ceramic stove tops, and energy efficient white goods.​

• Vendors must only offer products meeting minimum Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (GEMS)​

• Energy efficient white goods must meet minimum energy star ratings​

• Brighte will provide more information about these products as part of its vendor accreditation process​

• Installers of Category B products which are connected by fixed wiring (hard wired) must submit a Certificate of Electrical Compliance (CEC) to TechSafe​
