About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Cloud & Systems Engineer to join our IT Operations team and help manage and optimise the various systems and infrastructure components within the organisation. Leveraging DevOps practices and principles, you will work for a wide range of business systems and SaaS applications, including Brighte’s proprietary software Systems, AWS, Azure, Atlassian cloud services, etc.

What You'll Do

  • Design, deploy, and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, primarily Microsoft Intune, to ensure secure device provisioning, compliance, and application management across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
  • Monitor and optimise cloud environments (AWS, Azure) to ensure high availability, scalability, and efficient resource usage.
  • Implement DevOps best practices to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and scripting languages.
  • Oversee and manage enterprise systems including servers, storage, networking equipment, and cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal configuration, maintenance, and performance.
  • Establish monitoring and alerting systems, respond to incidents promptly, and minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting and resolution and enforce security best practices including access control, patch management, vulnerability assessments, and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards.
  • Design and maintain Cisco Meraki networks to provide secure, scalable office connectivity aligned with enterprise security policies.
  • Manage and optimise Microsoft 365 services, Azure AD, and Microsoft Teams video conferencing to enhance productivity and secure access.
  • Assess system capacity and performance and plan for future growth to meet evolving business needs.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, training materials, and knowledge bases to support team learning and disaster recovery while helping lead or participate in IT projects, managing changes through structured processes and CAB approvals.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously enhance infrastructure and operational efficiency.

What You'll Bring

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, or a related field or relevant certifications and/or hands on experience
  • You are proficient in managing in various domains, including system administration, network management, cloud services, automation, security, and database management.
  • You have expertise in managing and optimizing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.
  • You are knowledgeable in cybersecurity best practices and the ability to implement security measures to protect systems and data.
  • Your ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions is strong.
  • You have exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A commitment to staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
  • An eye for detail and finding the root cause to problems and producing creative solutions
