Office Manager

Part Time, Permanent — Sydney, NSW

About Brighte

Our mission is to make consumer energy resources (CER) affordable and accessible for everyone.

Brighte is building the platform to enable and accelerate the energy transition by making it easier, more affordable, and less risky to buy and sell energy equipment.

Founded by Katherine McConnell, Brighte is a fast-growing business with a focus on sustainability, innovation, and putting people first. Katherine was named Telstra Businesswoman of the Year in 2020 and received the Sustainability Crusader award at the B&T Women Leading Tech Awards in 2023.

In 2025, Brighte was named an AFR Sustainability Leader in the Banking and Finance category and won the inaugural Sustainability Award at the Affies.

About the role

Behind every smooth-running office is someone making sure the details are taken care of. That’s where our Office Manager comes in.

As our Office Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of our fantastic headquarters in Sydney CBD and play a key role in creating a warm, connected and functional workplace.

From coordinating Tuesday lunches and Thursday social events to managing office supplies, facilities, workplace health and safety, and office events, you’ll bring structure, energy and care to the Brighte employee experience.

This is a hands-on, office-based role suited to someone who takes pride in the details, loves staying organised and is always one step ahead. You’ll be part of the People & Performance team, helping create meaningful workplace experiences and ensuring our office reflects Brighte’s values.

Whether you’re supporting onboarding, coordinating facilities or bringing people together through events, you’ll play an important role in making Brighte a place where people genuinely want to be.

This is a part-time opportunity based in our Wynyard office. The working arrangement is flexible and may be structured as either:

  • Four full days per week, Monday to Thursday; or

  • Five shorter days per week, Monday to Friday.

We’re open to discussing the arrangement that best suits the successful candidate and the needs of the role.

Ready to help make Brighte a great place to work?

If you’re organised, proactive, and enjoy creating positive workplace experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

Every applicant will receive a response.
