What steps can I expect if I am selected for an interview?

If your experience looks like a match, a member of our Talent team will get in touch to arrange time for an initial phone chat. If we think you’re a good fit, the next step is an interview with the hiring manager or a technical test, followed by an interview with members of the department’s management team. Interviewing at Brighte

How are interviews conducted at Brighte?

All of our interviews are conducted online via Zoom. We will send through a calendar invite with a Zoom link to your email address after we’ve confirmed a time with you.

How can I prepare for my interview?

During each stage of the interview process our Talent team will provide guidance on what you should expect and how to prepare. As a start, please ensure you are familiar with the role description and how this relates to your own skills and experience, and take the time to learn about Brighte. Interviewing is a two-way conversation, so think about any questions you want to ask us, too.

Tips for interviewing over Zoom

Our team use Zoom during each interview so make sure you have it downloaded and your camera and microphone are working prior to the interview. We know background noise is sometimes unavoidable, but we recommend finding the quietest space possible to do the interview, with good internet connection and bright lighting. To avoid being distracted, make sure your phone is on silent and remember to turn off any notifications.

Will I need to complete any technical tests?

If you are applying for a role in our tech or product team, you may need to complete a technical test to demonstrate your technical knowledge and skills. Our Talent team will provide you with details on what the test is depending on the role you are applying for.
