Nick's electricity bill dropped to only 41c per day!

When it comes to solar and battery projects the benefits start to be real and significant months after installation – when customers receive their first quarterly bill and know just how much they are saving.

 “I couldn’t believe it when I saw the bill".

Like Brighte, our vendors want to bring the best energy and home innovations to Australians to help more families have sustainable and comfortable homes. So, it’s always nice to hear from customers who are proud to be reaping the benefits of their investment. When it comes to solar and battery projects the benefits start to be real and significant months after installation – when customers receive their first quarterly bill and know just how much they are saving.

Take for example Brighte customer Nick Constantine. Nick and his wife Lily, from Brooklyn Park in South Australia, didn’t hesitate to enhance their new home with solar panels and a Tesla battery. “In 2017 we were building a new home with Metricon and so it felt like the right time to move to solar. Our panels and also a Tesla battery were both installed within one month after the build was finished,” Nick said.

A few months later Nick was over the moon with his savings. As he explained “Before our new home was finished we were living with my mother and our electricity bills were as high as $1,000 per quarter. Amazingly our first bill in our new solar powered home was only $36.19 per quarter – or only 41c per day. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the bill.”

Nick’s story is a great example of how we’re making a big difference to the wallets and homes of Australians. Not to mention the environment. It also illustrates that satisfied customers can continue to benefit your business long after installation. How? Through word of mouth. Positive word of mouth means one sale can lead to many more.

In Nick’s case he boasts that installing solar panels and a battery has been “the best thing I ever did”. So, not surprisingly Nick is active in spreading word of mouth – proudly showing off his post solar bills to family and friends and telling them “Don’t hesitate to take the next step with home energy improvements – it’s the best investment I ever made and it could be yours too.”
