What You'll Do
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone and email inquiries related to payments, manage customer requests, review account adjustments, and resolve issues with client payments.
- Identify the cause of customer overdue payments and engage in discussions to find solutions, such as setting up payment plans.
- Recognise early signs from customers who might be facing financial troubles or suggesting problems with their cash flow, and take appropriate actions in line with regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for managing and monitoring designated accounts. This includes handling customer calls, making account adjustments, handling minor balance write-offs, conducting customer reconciliations, and processing credit memos.
- Meet specified performance targets as per the company's anticipated standards.
- Create and uphold productive and collaborative working connections
- Engage in training sessions and receive consistent ongoing coaching and assistance.
What You'll Bring
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, motivational and relationship building skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Key Attribute being Empathy as you will be customer facing and also possibly taking on challenging customers
- You can flex your communication style to respond to many different types of people. You'll engage with a wide variety of customers in this role.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving come naturally to you. You have a knack for fixing things and getting to the crux of the problem.
- You are empathetic and seek to understand where your customers are coming from.
- You have Collections experience using email and phone, with both inbound and outbound customers.
