IAG partners with Brighte to help households transition to more sustainable energy solutions

New customer benefit connects households with Brighte-accredited vendors, quotes and optional finance for eligible home energy upgrades.

08 October 2026

IAG has partnered with Brighte to help NRMA Insurance customers and IAG employees explore home energy upgrades that can improve household energy efficiency and may reduce energy costs over the long term. Through the partnership, eligible customers and employees can access discounts on solar systems, battery storage and EV chargers installed by Brighte-accredited vendors.

The partnership supports IAG's climate ambition of ‘empowering better choices for a safer place’ as outlined in its recently refreshed Climate Action Plan: Towards FY30.

IAG Executive Manager Group Sustainability and Climate Action Amy Hogan said the partnership is about supporting people to better understand climate-related impacts and the role they can play to support, prepare for and adapt to a low carbon future.

"Households want practical ways to improve how their homes use energy, but many don't know where to start," Ms Hogan said.

"Through this partnership with Brighte, we're making it easier for our employees and NRMA Insurance customers to explore home energy upgrades and potentially unlock long-term savings.

"Helping people make informed choices about their homes is one way we can support Australia’s transition to a more sustainable future.”

Brighte Founder and CEO Katherine McConnell said the partnership showed how established organisations could help turn household interest in home energy upgrades into action.

"By working with trusted organisations like IAG, we're helping more households move forward with home energy upgrades, giving employees and customers a direct path to accredited vendors, quotes and finance options,” Ms McConnell said.

"Home electrification reaches scale when household demand, skilled vendors and capital are connected. Brighte is building that infrastructure and embedding it within the organisations Australians already use every day."

Under the partnership, eligible NRMA Insurance customers and IAG employees can receive discounts of up to $500 on qualifying home energy upgrades through Brighte's accredited installer network. Customers can learn more and request a quote at https://brighte.com.au/nrma/
