In partnership with the Tasmanian Government, Brighte is proud to have supported thousands of households, small businesses, and community groups in their transition to cleaner, more energy-efficient living through the Energy Saver Loan Scheme.
The Scheme has empowered over 8,000 Tasmanian homes and businesses to access 0% interest loans of up to $10,000, helping overcome affordability barriers and unlock the benefits of lower energy bills and increased energy independence.
Over the last 3 years Brighte has distributed over $68M for energy efficient upgrades from rooftop solar and battery systems to heat pumps, efficient heating and cooling, and insulation upgrades.
This program has made sustainable home improvements a reality for many Tasmanians, with the success of the scheme made possible by Brighte’s network of trusted vendors and installers working across the state. With over 139 vendors supporting the scheme, their expertise and dedication has been instrumental in driving scheme adoption and delivering impact.
Alex Johnstone from I Want Energy, a Tasmanian vendor on the scheme said, “From our perspective, the scheme enabled us to support more customers to upgrade sooner, while strengthening local jobs and accelerating the transition to cleaner, more resilient energy across the state.”
