Helping to reduce bills by making energy efficiency easy - $50m TAS Energy Saver Loan Scheme

The Tasmanian Government launched the Energy Saver Loan Saver Loan Scheme in October 2022.

The scheme provides interest free loans of between $500 and $10,000 over 3 years to customers who install rooftop solar, battery storage, heat pumps, energy efficient appliances, and double glazing and insulation on their properties and businesses.

As the exclusive finance and administration provider, Brighte has overseen the rapid launch and strong uptake of the program, with new products also added to the scheme. Brighte manages all aspects of customer service, vendor onboarding and monitoring and the provision of finance.

In the first 6 months, the Scheme has already received over 1,000 applications from across Tasmania, with 70% of applications going to local installers.
