The right finance partner helps Solar Harbour expand across Australia
For close to a decade Arun and the team at Solar Harbour have helped their customers upgrade their homes by installing residential solar, badge insulation and EV charging stations. The Sydney-based company also does commercial installations, and currently operates across New South Wales, Queensland, the ACT, and Victoria.
With the recent surge in solar installations, Solar Harbor has set its sights on becoming a national service provider.
“Now having over 9 years of experience, we would like to step forward in different states like Western Australia and the Northern Territory, becoming a company that works and is recognised across Australia.
“We are also increasing our resources on the commercial side of the installations, and we have a lead engineer who's been working with us for the past 5 years focused on expanding this area of the business.”
To help build the business nationally, Arun has worked with finance partner Brighte for the past 8 years.
“Brighte has helped to grow the business at a high level because on an average, even today, around 10 to 20 clients each week come through Brighte. So around 75 of my customers each month finance their solar with Brighte.”
Arun has found that in addition to generating leads, the Brighte platform made it simpler to convert enquiries to sales.
“The Brighte product was one of the best products we could have to go and speak to the customer. The Bright team is very professional. They have an extremely great interface to work with. It’s a better way to work for solar retailers like us and for the customers. Their process is very quick, and again, the approval rate is high. It’s been an amazing journey with them over the past 8 years and the team has always supported to me.”
“If you are a solar retailer wanting to be successful in the industry, Brighte is one of the best options for a finance partner.
At the end of day, Arun’s favourite part of the job is making a real impact on his local environment.
“I feel that working with Solar Harbour is not just selling a product. We're doing something good for nature. We are giving the customer a choice and a chance to reduce their carbon footprint along with saving on their energy bill. So it gives me the world of satisfaction. It's a win-win scenario. You’re able to do something great for the customer, and really for the for the country - the place where you live - and for the future of the citizens as well.”
