Driving key deals for the energy business alongside our Business Development teamBe a key member of Brighte’s Executive Leadership team, which includes reporting to the Board of Directors on the progress of the Energy business.
Who you are Minimum 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience, ideally with minimum 5 years in the energy businessExperience as a leader (Founder, CEO, or a leadership team member running product, engineering, or marketing) in a technology startup or energy startup.You’re an innovator, with deep experience with creating new technology to create unique offerings within a market. This beyond “working with IT” to implement standard solutions, this is deep understanding and experience with how technology teams can change markets.You’ve driven scale quickly at a company while attracting the best talent in the market. Curious, determined and collaborative, encouraging debate and transparency rather than a top down command-and-control leader.Exceptional business acumen with a commercial awareness and insight to commercial drivers and relationships.Highly organised, with the ability to make key decisions and communicate them broadly.Very comfortable using online tools (like Slack, Confluence, Jira) as your primary method of communication and work.Strong preference for experience with modern energy technologies using renewables, VPPs, DERs, EVs, etc.Embodies our Brighte values: Deserve the Customer, Brighter Together, Be Human, Call the Ball and Think Big Stay Green
