At Brighte, we believe every Australian deserves access to a sustainable and comfortable home. How do we help Australian’s achieve this? We build innovative mobile and web platforms, responsible and seamless financial solutions, and relationships with customers and vendors that last. Our addressable market is massive and rooted in a positive mission that empowers Australian’s and the growing and critically important sustainability market.

If you’re keen to work for a mission-driven company, with smart people who live and breathe Brighte’s values, have a read below.
The Role
An exceptionally exciting opportunity to pioneer the data side of Fraud Intelligence, this role will see you helping Brighte create a focused and proactive approach to identifying and mitigating fraud.
We are currently scaling our Data and Fraud teams, both with which you will work very closely, along with our Chief Operations Officer and other key stakeholders.
If you love working with data, like the idea of being a bit of a Private Investigator while being exposed to some weird and whacky stories, this is the role for you!
What You Will Do
You'll work with key stakeholders & our fraud intelligence team to present a strategy that will support fraud monitoring and detection activities, from a data perspective.
Highlight potential loopholes or gaps in our current processes, and suggest adequate protection and controls.
You will maximize the automation of detecting suspicious activity - think like a fraudster and define what likely fraud looks like.
After a successful few months, this role will then expand and you will be assisting the Payment Collections and Credit Operations teams!
Who You Are
An engaging story teller - you can communicate to non-technical stakeholders in a way that makes it easy to interpret key messages.
If you have experience in telco, fintech or financial institutions, you're a stand out for this role!
You thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy working with a sense of urgency.
What You Will Bring
Experience in identifying fraud is a must, of course.
Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries.
Experience using a BI/visualization tool (preferably Tableau) and knowledge of visualization best practice.
The ability to quickly execute root cause analysis and bring team members/stakeholders along that journey with you!
Why Brighte?
Strong Team: We have built a very strong data team with highly experienced members who have worked across some of the top financial institutions in Australia - you would have the opportunity to work alongside them, learn from them and grow yourself professionally!
