Head of Sales & Partnerships

What you'll do

  • Identify key milestones to reach hyper growth and lead the team to execute against these milestones. 
  • Work closely with CEO and Chief Revenue Officer on creating and executing an effective sales strategy. 
  • Lead a partnerships strategy tasked with establishing new partnerships and identifying new revenue streams. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of our clients, market segment, competition, regulatory environment and emerging trends within the industry. 
  • Provide strong leadership, mentorship, vision and direction for the sales team. 
  • Understand solution selling at the point of sale and be able to coach/manage a high performing sales team and our partners on using those core strategies & competencies.  
  • Establish policies, processes and procedures that will ensure revenue growth. 
  • Roll up your sleeves and jump on big deals when the team needs a bit of help. 
  • Responsible for selling to prospective national partners in addition to managing and guiding the performance of the entire sales team. 
  • Communicate closely with marketing, product management & corporate development teams to create strategies and drive sales. 
  • Develop key metrics to drive the performance of the sales team. 
  • Provide accurate forecasts on a weekly/ monthly/ quarterly basis. 
  • Foster a team culture, that is accountable for targets and has a lot of fun.  
  • Who you are

  • Enthusiasm and experience defining key metrics and driving accountability. 
  • You've built high performing teams, understand how to recruit for amazing talent and can develop individuals to help them achieve professional growth.
  • You are comfortable in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions.
  • You've demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems. 
  • 10+ years of successful financial services sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a management role. 
  • A proven track record of growing sales, profitability and developing new business in a dynamic start-up environment.
  • Ability to provide accurate forecasting and pipeline development and management. 
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed with a passion to succeed. 
  • A flexible and creative, out of the box thinker. 
  • Must be experienced in excel and ability to understand financial models for commissions and forecasting purposes.
  • Experience working Salesforce.
