Energy Market Analyst, Revenue Pricing

What you'll do

  • Assisting with creating/updating Pricing and Costing model.
  • Proactively exploring and evaluating opportunities and strategies to maximise the value for our customers including;
  • Analyse customer’s consumption/PV data, retailer and other charges with the aim to minimize energy costs and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Working with Brighte’s Data community to develop dynamic and responsive models for the monetization of Distributed Energy Resources (DER).
  • Working with the Head of Wholesale Market and Finance team to develop, monitor and report on Brighte’s revenue and costing.
  • Who you are

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Working experience in NEM is a must (e.g. retail energy, wholesale energy markets, renewable energy technologies).
  • Knowledgeable and experience with DER.
  • Experience in working with the technology team to turn strategy into code.
  • Proven ability to proactively explore and discover new monetization and cost saving opportunities and strategies in NEM.
  • Knowledge of Wholesale market rules and obligations.
  • Experience in interrogating the market information and present the key insights to the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise with Microsoft Excel in large, and complex modelling for analysis, reporting, and collaboration with the wider team.
  • Experience using Python to perform electricity and market data analysis to draw commercial insights is highly regarded.
  • Experience in SQL and data visualisation skills (e.g. Tableau) is highly regarded.
