3 ways to close deals remotely

As Australia is social distancing to curb the spread of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), we’re hearing from a number of our vendors on how this is impacting their standard business processes. This includes taking customers through the Brighte application in person.

Did you know we have not one but THREE alternative approaches to customer applications? Check them out below, plus some tips on how to lock in the sale.
Let’s say you’ve visited the potential work site, or video called your customer to assess their home improvement or solar needs, and you’re keen to proceed. What next?

For the Brighte 0% Interest Payment Plan

Send a quote to your customer
Simply hop onto the Brighte Vendor App

  1. Click on New Application
  2. Enter the total purchase and deposit amounts. Brighte will then calculate the repayment amount for various different repayment terms automatically.
  3. Choose the desired repayment term and click on the Or send as quote button
  4. Fill in the buyer's details and click Send.
  5. The buyer will receive an email from Brighte with a link to a self-serve application which they can complete in their own time.
  6. Once the buyer has completed the application, you will receive a notification email.

Or if you’re using the Brighte Vendor Portal:

  1. Go to the Quotes screen by clicking Quotes in the left sidebar.
  2. On this screen, you can view the list of outstanding and completed quotes.
  3. On the Quotes screen, click Send a new quote on the right-hand side of the screen to create and send a new quote.
  4. Enter the total purchase amount, deposit amount, repayment term along with the buyer's details and click Submit.
  5. The buyer will receive an email from Brighte with a link to a self-serve application which they can complete in their own time.
  6. Once the buyer has completed the application, you will receive a notification email.

Complete an application with your customer over the phone
Please note you will need to be trained and activated to use this function. Please contact your Brighte account manager to find out more.

  1. Jump onto the Brighte Portal and head to the Applications tab
  2. Click on take an application
  3. You or a colleague can input all of your customers application details at each stage of the application process. You will just need to read our script and follow the process flow. The terms and conditions to the customer needs to be sent/read to ensure the application is compliant
  4. Once complete the customer will receive a notification code which they need to provide to you to finalise the application
  5. Your customer will then be notified of the application decision

For the Brighte Green Loan or Brighte Personal Loan

Send a Referral

  1. Head to the Brighte Portal and jump onto the personal loans tab
  2. Enter the details of the job (the service and product you’re providing, your terms etc.) and your customer’s details.
  3. Your customer then receives an invitation to apply for a Brighte loan. They will be able to select what terms they would like, submit their personal and financial details and upload supporting documents.
  4. Your customer and agent will then be notified of the application decision, in most cases after approximately 30mins

Some ways you can help get up to speed up and seal the deal:

  • Book in some applications refresher training with your Brighte account manager
  • Stay in regular contact with your customers throughout the quoting and decision-making stage
  • Keep your customer well informed on your changing work practices and estimated installation times
  • Direct your customers to contact Brighte direct if they have further finance or application questions
